Child Safe Standards

Malvern Valley Primary School is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all children can learn, grow and thrive.

As a Child Safe School, we have zero tolerance for child abuse. We are committed to protecting all students from harm and ensuring that every child feels safe, respected and empowered.

Child safety is everyone’s responsibility. We expect all staff, volunteers and members of our community to share this commitment and uphold our child safety policies and practices at all times.

Our Child Safety Officers are:

  • Ms Amy Tinetti, Principal
  • Mrs Laura Crothers
  • Mr Andrew Brown

These staff members can be contacted regarding any questions or concerns about child safety.

Our child safety and wellbeing policies outline the measures and strategies we have in place to support and protect students. These include staff training, clear codes of conduct, and processes for identifying and responding to concerns.

At Malvern Valley Primary School, we value student voice and encourage students to speak up, share their ideas and seek support when needed. We believe that when students feel heard, they feel safe.

We recognise that families are important partners in promoting and maintaining child safety and wellbeing. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to contact the school if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns.
