As we get ready to start the new school year, it’s a good opportunity to reflect on our past grade 6 students and wish them well in starting their secondary school journey. Enjoy this clip from their graduation.

Congratulations to our RSL project winner and finalists!
The RSL Project is an annual event open to all grade 6’s. Students are encouraged to create a piece that is reflective of our war history. The winner receives a $400 contribution towards their high school tuition. This year we had a range of entries of outstanding quality.
A warm congratulation to Jelan for his exceptional and detailed RSL Project. Also congratulations to our finalists!

Last night we celebrated our 2021 Grade 6 Graduates. Before the Graduation Ceremony, the students dined with current and past staff members including Mrs Fehlberg and Mrs Howe. Their dining area was decorated in secret by Grade 6 parents, many of whom will be finishing their MVPS journey this year also.
Afterwards, the students took to the stage on the oval where they and their families were taken on a trip down memory lane, with a photo reel spanning their Prep to Grade 6 journey. We were then entertained with a poem created by the graduates and then bought to tears as they sang ‘See you again’ by Charlie Puth.
The annual Grade 6 awards for Higgins, Japanese, Sport and Citizenship were presented by the Hon. Katie Allen MP, Member for Higgins. Winners were:
Higgins: Amy R and Hannah Wi
Sport: Jack M
Japanese: Oliver E-A
Citizenship: Mitchell L
The Arts: Anna M
Academic: Ishika P
Our Grade 6 teachers, Mrs Carter, Miss Katsinaris and Mr Velez regaled us with tales of each of their students before they offered final congratulations  and bid farewell to the class of 2021. #graduation2021 #newbeginnings2022 #malvernvalleyprimary
