The School Policies are statements of the schools aims, general principles and an overview of the arrangements made to achieve them. They are developed using the Department of Education’s Policy Advisory Library and reviewed by the Curriculum, Policy and Wellbeing Sub Committee. The school policies undergo continual reviews. Parents are invited to draw the attention of the Sub Committee to items of policy needing attention.

Medical Forms

At Malvern Valley Primary School we have policies in place to ensure best practice management of Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Allergy as guided by the Department of Education and Training (DET) policies. Through this regulatory framework, the school acknowledges that it is a mandatory requirement that parents and carers provide a valid Action Plan, along with an Individual Health Support Plan.

Please note that these plans must be reviewed every year, or following a significant allergic/asthmatic episode.
